What stretchers do you guys use? I,ve just bought a roberts gt 2000(sounds like a car) from Rugrat, and its the best stretcher i,ve had. The previous good one was a kinkead model, but i had that nicked about 20 years ago.

    knee kicker (roberts)
    Power stretcher
    mini stretcher
    super stretcher

However i must admit i dont really use the mini strecher nor the power stretcher. The super stretcher does the job of these two.

Really good, it stretches almost as good as a powerstretcher but is light weight, Its only slightly slower than a knee kicker. (takes me an extra 1-2mins on a 4x4 room)

However it cant be used on concrete floors and the other problem is that you cant purchase them!

Floorwise brought the patent/design and changed the stretcher head to a cheaper head to save build costs. The new head was usless and killed the stretcher off.

I like the look of that GT Ted it has and extra nap and extra row of spikes....looks good although I don't think im going to invest in another

I have an old crain deluxe thats identical to the roberts (same as Big als) this is my favourite

and I have a Crain deluxe with the power rods connecting to the spike head

iI had an account with floowise and i,m sure that was the tool i asked if i could have a demo of(about15 years ago) but they said they didn,t do demos and i had to buy it, which was about£150 so i said no!!

we did loads of demos with it at harrogate/nec etc. The demo was a stage about 1.5 meter square. The carpet was cut 1/2" short and then we used it to stretch the carpet back onto the gripper.

However floorwise killed it off. In the near future i might look into reproducing it!

Does anyone in the UK use the Spike(stinger)? I have bad knees and can stretch almost as fast with it as I can a kicker.

Is that the one that uses like a power stretcher handle/head with spikes at the rear of it also? You stretch at a angle with it?

    Hi,
Does anyone have one of the kneeless stretcher's or know of anyone that maybe imports them to the UK.
I saw one of these in the states some time back but wasn't convinced on its effectiveness and it was about $450 dollars at the time. To get one shipped to UK now would still be about $550 which would be more than the price of a power stretcher . I was just wondering if anyone here had any experience of them. Here's the link to a website selling them http://www.kneeless.com/index.htm
It would be interseting to know what you guys think.

Hi Andy I contacted this company to see if we could bring them into the UK but they are not very intrested in doing business here on any scale they just want to sell direct to individuals.
