Has anyone got one of these?.If so does it replace the metal tool or do you need both.I have seen it in a glass cabinet with other tools. It looks a bit tame if that is the right word, even though it might lighten the toolbox.About eight quid so not much to lose is it.
No its not a replacement it is for use around tiles marbel and other items which may be damaged by use of a metal stairtool. rugrat
i have one. Really good tool but you still need the metal bolster also for stairs. The plastic tucker wont mark satin skirts and is thin so can use instead of a tucking knife with tight gripper gaps. It also has a sharp corner that is spot on for tucking on corners and a rounded side that works well for creasing the carpet onto the gripper. Only down side is that it does wear. Should last a fair amont of time tho but end of the day its made of plastic, and made of plastic for a reason.
lol, yep it true. Thats why his ears are odd, he got to close to bonfire on bonfire night and one of his ears melted and went out of shape!
Yes mate, i have to say ive not used it much, however i do know there used alot more down South than in my area, they do wear, but if you do use the bolster to tuck with, id say get one, however, not to be used on stairs.
Yes I have two of them . As stated earlier great on Surfaces that mark easley . I also have a bent/curved one for tucking down under low rads ect . Advantage is plastic so lightweight in the toolbag John
