Hi Marky, I had an operation to replace an anterior cruciate ligament (inside right knee, I can feel your pain) 15 years ago, it was about 8 weeks before I was fit enough to work properly. I have been fitting since then, but have changed knee for stretching carpet. Have also been skiing loads and can still do doggy. In fact it's as good as new. Good luck with the consultation.
thanks lads i dont know what happened knee just gave way on saturday and swelled right up my gp recoks its just wear and tear over the yesrs can only wait and see what the surgeon says net week swelling has settled a good bit with the painkillers so fingers crossed
I bashed my knee many years ago , as i was rushing along , and knocked into a doorframe, needless to say my knee swelled up. I put some capsolin, which was a strong ointment from the chemist, it seemed to burn the swelling out, but it felt my knee was on fire, that bad in fact i could have fried an egg on it!! My wife was in stitches, i was in agony
