how do you bond your tiles?

    so do you trowel adhesive on the subfloor and drop in? or do you apply adhesive to the tile also?

    Carpet tiles matt?
    If so i normally roll the adhesive out,on smaller area's normally trowel out,if I'm feeling lazy spray em down lol
