    hello

would it be ok to put plywood over a laminate floor, possibly with levelling compund( f ball flex 700?) afterwards

my kitchen floor is old, partially split cheap laminate

rather than remove all that and then have to rebuild height up with a screed could i plywood it and then a thin screed?

    i'm new to all this

    thanks

no, you will need to remove the laminate flooring first.

is it a wooden or concrete subfloor?
