The best and obvious way is to sell them back like some peeps do but a good way to get rid of them is to save them (not for a rainy day) but just incase a customer asks you to peel a carpet back for a new fire place that they are installing or fresh wardrobes then place the tube on the crease when the carpet is folded back to make it easier to re-fit,very professional, but only if you have a giant lockup .

Give them to the local primary school, the art teachers can find 100s of uses for them.

Do you find that very often carpets are sent with half a tube or even a full tube thats been broken and twisted?.Saves on skip prices spose!.Also sellotape in contrast seems to be in abundance (NIGHTMARE TO GET OFF) SOMETIMES.

And that tube line that is always visible in the doorway when fitted,"oh it will go away after a few weeks" not.
