winders

can some1 give me some advice please.
how do you fit winders. i haven't been fitting long but i'v done a few rooms and h/s/l with straight stairs.

 

ensure as with straight stairs that the pile folds straight over the nose and simply fit like you would a room just its slighlty smaller

I put gripper up the side of the riser, but always 45 the top part so it doesn't wear through the carpet. I find this quicker and it's a good finish.

 

Dulux are currently advertising on tv a painted stair case if that helps.

 

And don't it look rubbish!!!
