I installed a mosaic floor 18 month's ago, it was installed by the book but is now failing. I have asked the top man to do an inspection, but I am curious to know if I have a liability after this period time?

    Thanks in advance.

sorry mate, im fully booked, have you tried the 'old man' ?

Whats failed mate? Fitting is guaranted for 12 months i think, but not sure what happens after that due to product guarranty etc.

Like Matt asks, how, where and when is it failing? Are the blocks coming up, is the finish wearing off too quickly?

Guarantees on fitting (labour) varies per business no doubt, we give a 4-seasons guarantee on labour, but if after that time it comes to light we did make a mistake after this period I'm sure we still would be liable.
On the other hand, if the floor would fail within the 12 month's period due to other circumstances we are not liable.
