i hate "adams" stuf due to the backing is stiff. tomkinsons crystal twist used to be the worsed stuff to fit a few years ago.
I agree with you on Adams carpets Natt, they are a nightmare to fit. I saw the Adams rep in the shop i sub-contract to and asked him if they invented viagra!!, i didn,t get much response from him
um...if sisal, seagrass natural flooring comes under carpet i would say those products. it wasnt made to be fitted it was made to burn. horrible ghastly stuff should be outlawed.
worst carpet anything cheap on secondary backing. worst thing to fit definately coir fitted thousands of yards of it on a contract job full stick, and the area was circular nightmare also polyflor altro with welding slices your hands up no end.
Another vote for the coir/sisal. Luckily not had to fit any for several years now - would run away screaming if a job came up in it these days. Or any of the primo range from cormar with it's magic delaminating backing. Tho the rep tells me it's all sorted now - got a full house to replace at some point thanks to them.
i hate the belgian wiltons, cormars quite good to fit but does anyone else think the backing comes off real easy?
