hey i am interested in doing flooring offshore. i started fitting in april 2006 and im confident at most things. only problem im having is i dont know whats required to get offshore or what companys to contact etc...also the company i have been with dont give you a certificate once your times through. do i need certificates?
Do you mean working on cruise ships? if so i wouldn't bother mate From my experience the money wasn't good enough and unless you can work on them somewhere warm, as i have done some work on the Fred Olsen Cruise ships in norway and it was bloody cold. Alot of work abroad now requires you to of passed a NVQ in what ever you fitting. If you dont have a NVQ and need one or want to be qualified with a certificate etc then give me a shout.
