    Hallo,
I have found a big quantity (10.000 sq.m.) of Tarkett laminate in special price,
The pallets have red stickers says B-grade, Seller is saying that is stock lot.
Normally I would not buy this, but right now everyone is searching cheaper products.

Has anyone used something like this?

    have to agree with matt.
Baddly milled edges, chipped, bendy, not colour matched, different thickeness, to much hassel, and the customer always forgets that it was "B" grade or "seconds" and complain, even when you point out it was "B" grade so "tough" they still blame you and you lose any possable repite business

It all depends on the product. We constantly ask for specails for our retail stores from many of the laminate flooring manufacturers. They are usually over runs , cancelled orders or b grade / seconds.

Ask what the issue is with the floor . If could just be the colour is not matching with the rest of the batch or the odd misaligned paper. As long as it fits okay and will still be useable , you should be fine.

Make sure thought that if you are selling anyting as seconds , you must state very clearly that it is seconds.. Other wise you can get in to trouble..

It also depends on how much you are paying for the goods. If you are paying a pound a metre and sell it on straight away for two then it is worth it to yourself and your buyer. If you are paying four pound then its near to the price of a budget laminate. If it costs you 3 quid a mtr and three quarters of it is ok then realistically in order for you to use it it is costing you 4 quid plus the waste. In the end is will you be stuck with it and for how long.If it is "top end" laminate at a low price then it might be a good time to buy it.
