Does anyone do any work outside the uk?.Do you know anybody that does any fitting in other countries?.If so,what are the pros and cons.

I worked in Leipzig, Germany in 1995. I had a good crack and learned loads off them old boys, especially about wood and finishing. They have a can of beer at 10am, I can't believe I came back! Also worked in Meribel, France carpeting a ski chalet, I cut the coir mat short (like you do) right at the end of the job. Had to lay it out in the sun for a bit and fix it with contact adhesive to make it fit, too far away to go back for another bit. Isle of Wight next, bring it on!
