I have had a good day (no a great day) and rather than moan about how bad things are lets tell everyone how good things Are.
I had a good day (not). I loaded on the van what I thought was some floor seal, when I poured it out realized it was water! My apprentice said "Oh yeah, I filled that up to wash the screeding tools" Aaaaaaahh! When I was learning I would have got a thick ear for that, you can't do it these days (and his mum knows my wife). So I just sulked...All day!
Well, at least he's showing some initiative ;-) Had a good few days this week, small orders through our new online shop keep increasing, new supplier finally managed to find our storage facility and had the type of clients in I really love: done their homework at home (through our online full colour wooden floor range brochures), came to the showroom to check out their preferred choice "live" and within 10 minutes the deal (supply & install) was done.
