tape measures

    I still use a tape measure( stanley 10mtr) , does anyone use a laser? call me old fashioned but i trust my old tape

    I use a tape measure to measure a room. To easy to make a mistake with a laser measure.

    I use lasers to mark out floors tho.

    i use both you have to trust the laser.

    Lots of fitters have trouble trusting the laser measures thats why they have not caught on in our trade. Quantum profiles reps use them all the time measuring steps for nosings the information is sent via bluetooth to the offices. Giving you an accurate cutting list for the stairs. Great tool if you learn to trust it.

    I hate it when the tape gets stuck in a gap next to the skirting, sometimes you can shake it like a madman and it still won't come out!

    If that happens to a poundshop tape then just rive it then buy some poundshop no-nails to stick the skirting back on.Then again i dont think the stuff ever dries.
