Hey folks i sub to a big carpet chain 3-4 days a week but me and the other fitters are having massive problems with the manager discounting jobs im talking 130m2 full prep plus vinyls for £140 I have done 3 free jobs this week (not replacements) coming to £150 pounds and am £250 short on my money over 5 days,My mate was down £540!! hes a 2 man team im on my own.
We discussed it with him 4 months ago he agreed to stop on all small jobs and we said we were happy with a reasonable discount on big jobs housefulls etc.
But he was full of s$^*e!
I know and can prove that 95% of his sales they havent even asked for the discount !
Also so if a customer needs refunded for cock up from shop etc he is sending us out to do the fitting free!
I know i should just walk but worried about building my own work up.
Im a good fitter and give 100% and good with customers i dont deserve this.

    Please help guys.

if the shop is part of a chain report him to his head office, they may even have someone to deal with fittters at head office.

Put the shop on a "black-list" and don't work for them any longer. If all the other fitters take the same stand, he's got a big problem. Tell him to pay up for lost earnings before you even contemplate to accept new jobs from him.
    That'll teach him, no doubt.
