    Hi all,
My names Ian, just thought I better say hi before posting so I don't upset the residents.
I've been working as a handyman/builder for a few years and now I'm doing more floor work, from new concrete floors, screeds etc, done loads of laminate and karndean/amtico etc. I'm now hoping to get into carpet laying as the local carpet shops seem to charge quite a lot for some right tatty finishing.
As I do virtually everything else I thought I would like to learn this also, what do you think?

You can see a bit of what I do at www.ian-sim.co.uk, the site needs a bit of an update - it's abit messy..

    Cheers --- Ian

    No.

I tend to specialise in doing complete projects were pos, hence the need to learn carpet fitting.
I've laid all the carpets in my own home without any probs but there's always room for improvement..
