Hi I lifted the carpet and underlay to lay a laminate floor and when taking the carpet grippers off the tiles they were nailed to obviously cracked. This is about a third of a tile all the way around the room and there were a couple that all broke. The tiles are about 3mm thick and they have been laid on a concrete floor with some sort of black paint on top of the concrete. The room size is about 8mx6.
What product should I use and can this be bought at a focus/b&q type store.
    Thanks

Yeah best bet is to lift the tiles but if you don't want to go through all that hastle then filling in the broken tiles should work. It is a laminate floor that your putting down so there will also be an underlay inbetween and as there is not the movement in laminate as carpet then there shouldn't be a problem. Black stuff is probably called the old black jack adhesive used for tiles many years ago. Horrible sticky stuff.
Visit your local carpet retailer and ask for a few bags of Ardex NA & Liquid which will stick to most things including the black jack adhesive. As your not sticking directly to the fills it shouldn't get pulled off the adhesive.
For a laminate floor im 99 percent certain it will be fine. Would not suggest this for any other floor though.

If in doubt lift the tiles but you will still have the black jack to deal with :-(
