Has anyone seen these?.Iam of course talking about the metal ones.I used some on saturday (not that saturday is of any significance) TO THIS SUBJECT.sTIKATAK without namedropping let me try these and when i fitted the "Z" PLATES I COULDNT GET THEM TO STAY-IN-SITU.When i drilled and screwed them down, they wanted to lift and move, purely because they are so thin that they must have hinges in them. Are there better makes out there that i can use, mainly for the safety aspect and not just cosmetic.
i dont have a issue with there plates? Maybe they have changed the quality and im still on old stock?
Sounds like your just at that annoying height where the z edge just doesnt sit right. Ive had some really thin singles but never had an issue with z edge. I like to use the raised base bars I think they are much better but I cant seem to get them at the moment? Ive had a few suspect rolls of cirrus recently aswell, im sure its getting worse?
I am fitting a load of carpet tiles tomorrow. If they curl at the corners i might blame the tackifier.
I know a few blokes like that, if you bring an adhesive on a job that isnt fball, they always moan about it
Ive used mapie eco tack for carpet tiles and I thought it was well alright, im sure they make amtico adhesive aswell. I did find thier flexible wood adhesive a bit of a pain to get out the foil bag, probly me being cack handed tho
I was given a couple of tubs of the P990 Mapei wood flooring adhesive on the course and used it on a job over under floor heating. It went down fine and was every bit as good as the Sika products I normally use. Only problem is where to get supplies of Mapei - I used Mercados but in their latest price list they have reduced the number of Mapei products they supply.
