can you post up a picture of the failed sticker? Any code to go with it so i can cheack to see what thety failed on?

Also when you say there are gaps, has the product moved after fitting or just gappy when laying?

Is it on the lengths of the planks that are 'gappy' or the ends?
I had some polyfloor beveline planks last year that wernt meeting in the middle of the planks
Got the rep out, he took 1 look and said FAULTY
    Got em replaced right away..
Some of em were almost smiling at me they were that warped in the middle. :?
Did you notice it straight away or half way through the job?

Hi mate its just the ends i noticed it straight away but ive seen this before on flooring that ive laid thats been seconds amtico isnt going to replace it if it is seconds and all the boxes are same batch no.with failed stickers on the ends .i know the customer brought them cheap so he may have known there seconds but not understanding what that means.i just dont want to turn up monday and for him to blame my fitting cause i know its not ive fitted loads of amtico/karndean with no problems all the problems i ever get seem to be when its purchased from the net

    Hmmmmmm :?
If i went to a house and seen that, i'd be straight onto phone to amtico and asking wtf?
Then i'd be walking out the door, and charging the guy for wasting my time (if it was faulty goods)
    But..
If the guys happy having a gappy floor, then crack on...Many wouldnt, no matter how cheap it wouldve been to buy
Thats the probem with buying cheap off the net, unrealistic expectations!!
Good luck on monday matey, id get the customer to sign a disclaimer ;)
Also tell him he might not have the amtico guarantee either if the product has failed quality control

Ask Ted if his German Shepherd will pull planks while your customer heats em up.

in the past with karndean and amtico and its all been purchased off net ive even had a few wood jobs aswell.never had any probs with flooring ive supplied.
so all i can think is its seconds being supplied.

They are not far from me, lots of shop around the area, set up their own warehouse distrubution centre and tried to sell to other local shop and fitters, then when it became tight started selling direct to the public out of the warehouse at same price. Lots of cheap stuff from Belgum and seconds underlay and the like. They will be buying anything that is well below normal list to sell on at a profit.
