I get fed up with D.I.Yers who fit the track directly on the floor. They should be fitted on a piece of wood. I had one today, had to unsrew it and slide the carpet underneath
yea that anoy's me of too, or the ones that lay it ontop of the old cpt and then say "i couldn't lift the (old) cpt because its under the sliderobe". and through time when the doors jump the guides and the track starts to curl along its length because of the cusion underneath. even had one person ask could i remove the doors and track and fit it right through, guess what the answer was?
yes it was somthing like that  going now the drown St Paddy int :beer ....well it's nearly midnight
i had a large contract on new builds a couple of years ago now. They had a company fitting sliding door wardroads and we was fitting the wood flooring Anyway, we ended up removing all the wardrobes and then refitting after we installed the floors. Company we worked for clocked on that we was now removing and refitting wardrobes so they decided to get us in to fit the floor first and then the wardrobes after! Bonus, but they then started damaging the floors we had fitted ! Maybe we should fit the wardrobes also then? But no we cant do that can we? Anyway, they lost the contract because of this. We did however get employed direct to do the floors still for them.
