hi guys, Did a Full prep bathroom in carpet yesterday morning. Used hot melt to stick the gripper as the customer didn't want me to nail or drill the floor, double banked the gripper because it is much stronger than just a single bank and hot melt aint the strongest bond out there plus the carpet was really stiff and i just felt it would give a better finish! Took these on my phone sorry they aren't very good quality!

That would be the Crain hand stretcher, basically it stretches the carpet where you can't get fit your stretcher in. Hope that explains it.

prefer to use a waffle back bathroom carpet double stick never had a problem this way also stops any shrinkage, and water penetration.

Good job, that. If I hadn't seen the prep photos, I'd have sworn it was double stuck, it's as flat as a witch's tit.
