Safety work trainers

    Been on the look out for some safety trainners as the toes worn out on my dewalt (which cost £70).
    So thought as most toes will wear out due to concrete floors etc I might as well buy cheap.
    Seen these -

    Anyone tried them or recommend others.

    Tip on boots, dont buy boots with hooks at the top for your shoe laces to hook around. I have seen (+ done it myself) damaged vinyl's because of this hook.

    Best to buy boots with eye holes only.

    P.s matalan do safety boots for £25 if i remeber correct.

    I want trainers really Matt, I can't stand the boots up my ankle.

    the company i work for sold me these new saftey trainers for £32 or something like that
    grafters theyr called

    Are they any good?
    Does the toe last?
    Because once metal shows on toe your kicked off site :eek: :evil:

    thats me had them a month and the toes are starting 2 wear a bit, toes arent through yet!
    the building sites up here wouldnt bother, am scottish though, haha

    Nice one, i have had 3 pairs over last few years and toes go on all of them.
    So best to buy cheap and save for site work
    Will keep searching though

    2 Years they've lasted? must get myself a pair of those. I'm lucky to get 6mths out a pair of clogs.
