I have been back to a job I done in november, which is classic oak true forest.
A lot of the planks are lipping. He has caught his shoe on one so wants that plank changing.
I said it's a bigger problem and will get the rep out.
They it might need to all come up.
It a hall on plywood stuck with 44.
2 flooring places i use have stopped have stopped selling it now.
I have used it last couple of years and only ever had one problem when all the planks curled up but they replaced them.
Anyone use it and what do you think?

When you say lipping do you mean peaking up at the ends?

I've only ever had that problem with 2mm tiles (twice) and it's been due to underestimating the heat from sunlight through windows. You might be able to fix them by lifting the ends with a little heat, put some HT down and roll away wiping with a cool moist cloth and checking. Sometimes they just don't want to lie flat again though.

Good advice mate, might try that if I have a problem when the ref sees it.
    No sunlight in there though.
But a radiator in the hall.

caused by the product normally being to cold when installing.

I take it that you fitted straight off the van in november temps? If not then it could be a product issue where the flooring was at different temps etc at manufactorer and there trying to turn back to there true sizes at a guess.

No mate, the floor was on site when I plywood it.
I opened boxed and heatin was on about 18 degrees.
I do that on every job.
But think it to do with temperature

What about the plywood, do you know the moister content of the plywood v the subloor.

Another mistake installers make is they purchase the plywood and dont check its moister content, you/they then install the plywood and the moister in the floorboards is different, the plywood starts to move and takes the LVT with it. Lets say the plywood starts to reduce its size. The product ontop is going to try and stay the same size but the plywood underneath is now smaller. The product can start to peak, Normally speaking tho you will have the odd gap also where boards meet?

Could be that then Matt, hope not cause that's down to me.
I will of took ply off the van and fitted it. Didn't check it.
Didn't know I should to be honest
I get it from a flooring place where it's stored inside but it was cold few months then.

This again is why i like F46. You can simply pull the whole lot up with no issues and relay it.

Getting back to your issues. I would say most installers dont know they need to check the moister content of the subfloor (wood) and the plywood also. Most of the wood flooring people know this as most of them have had a floor fail and then wonder why and go on training course or they know someone in the trade that can give them the answer. For instance this forum!

    Anyway, now you know LOL.

Im not saying the issue is caused by you tho mate. For instance, has anything changed around the property? A new driveway for instance can be the cause of the flooring failing! Or it could be simply down to a product fault. It is one of them things mate, unless you have someone in the know come out and find out why it has done this you will never know. In most cases it cheaper just to replace the flooring, but i have seen people do this before and the same problem keeps happening as they are not dealing with teh 'cause' of the issue.

Nothing changed at property mate, I did kitchen in the karndaen knight tile about 3 years ago and that still looks good
That was on same floorboards as the hall.
Weird eh, I do think it could be ply or glue
Some of the glue around that time had frozen on my van and I let it thawed out and still used it.
    Could that be why?
Not sure if it was that glue on that job but could of been.

it could be the glue but i dought it.

If LVT is fitted at the correct temp for the area you could 'in theroy' loose lay the flooring and it wont move. Like i say, LVT moves because of heat change or the subfloor is moving due to moister change or the product is simply faulty.
