Been asked to quote for replacing a dancefloor that is currently a "budget" laminate and is lifting after a year or so,would it be favourable to use a good quality laminate and why/or not but what instead if?.

What kind of dance floor is it? Dance school, club, hotel? Just trying to get an idea of usage.

dance floors - the good ones - will have to have a certain bounce in them to prevent injuries

Not sure if a budget laminate predicts a serious dance school/floor

Budget laminate is already installed but would a good quality and thicker floating floor in laminate be suitable ie either 10mm or maybe 12mm for the job?.

But where's the dance floor? Village hall? Club? Pub? Real dance school??

How intense is it being used?
