    You won't believe this-

My cousin wanted me to fit some laminate for him today but been too busy so couldn't, it's in a house he rents out but the turn around for old an new tenant is a few days so there wasnt time forKarndean etc
So he got laminate and got r mate bob the bum to lay it who is a cheap DIY painter.
Bob said he done it before, guess what, he hadn't....
He couldn't get it too fit so decided to cut the Tongue off every board.
Then laid it onto the boards loose, and tight to skirting.
As you can imagine it didn't work, poor bob.
Anyway r Gaz had to get laminate fitters in last minute to refit the bedroom and then lay other bedroom and the living room total 35m2 Inc fitting the underlay boards and beading. They also fitted a carpet on the stairs which is straight with a 1m2 landing and they have charged him £600 cash!!! They only supplied the underlay for the carpet.
He is goin mad but they said they charge £15 m2 for laminate?
    Does that sound rip off.?
Bet bob is cryin in his pint now.

For a last minute job where the client has bought the cheap materials themselves and made a botch of it?
Sounds about a right price to get it done quickly and professional.
