I must of cocked up my order, the stuff come in and I have the screed rake not the pin leveller.
I must of forgot to change it after finding out which to get. On well it will do for now

Me too had it hammered into me from an early age by my father and grand father their saying was clean and look after your tools and they will look after you.

Ive been accused of trowel abuse many a time, forgetting to clean feather finish off is bad!!
Does the screed rake still work if the sub floor is really uneven??

Depends on depth and screed type. Normally conditions then yes it works. But we all know that normal conditions are rare. So no it dont work!

It does actually but there's a technique to it. In low spots instead of pressing down to the sub floor lighten the grip and try to draw the rake to skim at the same level. It's quite easy with a bit of practice.

I keep most of my trowels in a large tub of water but I have a good reason for it......I'm lazy :p

I use a big flexible plastic yellow bucket, fill it about a 1/3 and use it to rinse my whisk after each mix and to clean my spikey when finished. Cause it bends you can get the spikey submerged and then just brush it off with my hand.

Got a 20" paint bucket today. Great for cleaning spiky roller an rake in as the whole thing fits in.
Anyway my paint roller I bought which was meant to be the f.ball one isn't. It's the sweedy Todd one and they didn't tell me. I paid £32 for it, does anyone know the cost of the f.ball paint roller?

It wasn't the f.ball one I got it was the one thats in the sweedy todd book. It came from f.ball though. They cant have any that are in there magazine. The one I got is the same roller head but bit different bar around it. And different pole.
