What a great film, the 1st time you watch it, nothing had been done like it.
Just watched it again tonight. Scares the shit out of me still. It's the suspence.

Yep....the first is usually the best. I found that scarier than any horror movie.

 

I see Ridley Scott is making a new one a prequel set before the original one

 

No way, Aliens is much better, james Cameron at his best

 

Liked aliens too which is more action. But you knew what the alines were by then. It's the not knowing thing that gets ya.

 

I spose, I watched Aliens before Alien so Ive always prefered it

 

In Alien you didn't know what they were up against and they only showed you the creature bit by bit hence the suspense. By Aliens they had to up the ante (and the budget).

 

Did you watch them back to back?

 

No mate, got them all on DVD lol, but recorded alien on sky. Too lazy to put a DVD in lol
