Is it me or do they grow? Yesterday i had two double naplocks on the landing , measured them marked them, cut them, too big , measured , cut , too big, i was having a mare and nearly bent the bloody things in half! :lol:
The ones I buy seem to shrink, especially the CAT bars, Ive got a few spares if any ones working in a house with narrow doors

i purchased it for my Ex-apprentice. It was getting expensive supplying 5 door plates to do one door! He still managed to cut them short tho. Hence 'EX' apprentice LOL.
I rem few years ago working in a funeral parlour and was cutting a wide flat trim for a double doorway. The bloke was standing above me talkin as I was cutting the trim. he said do you ever cut them short, I said no and then you guessed it! I cut it 10 cms short. 2 of us pissed ourselves laughing. I blamed the dead body's lying about. Wasn't laughing following day as had to go back job with a new one.
