    Do you trowel it on with small notch or roll it straight on?
    Which do you use?
    I have only used F41

    you get a cost effective spray system now.
    Attatch a cordless drill to it and thats it!
    Ace system, dotn think the bags of glue that you use for it are that much more either.. :smile:

    Ive always rolled it on. load up a paint tray and away you go. I use to use it for sticking the underlay when double sticking but I use f40 now, I think thats what your supposed to use

    I prefer the Mapei Eco-tack - much better than the Ball's and Stikatak ones. Higher tack and better coverage.
    Oh yeh, I always use a roller (foam one). The shape of the Mapei tub means you don't need a tray.

    Yeah that eco tack is good, Its got a strong smell to it tho, I did a massive landing area with it and it stank the whole building out.

    Yes i have the laybond one only good on big empty rooms and don't go near the walls, first time i used it i had sticky walls!

    Agreed, only really worth while when doing massive metterage, deffo sticky wall stuff haha

    I thought we all knew that anyway but trowel in and roll,i think Matt has posted some pics not too many moons ago.

    So trowel and roll then, I used to just use old trowel blade an not roll it.

    Does any1 do the classic one rollers width of tacki down the middle of the corridor and lay off of that? ;) some1 out there does

    Ha,I reckon thats why I never get carpet tile jobs. Does it work as well on the stairs!
