I would say welding mitres on cap&cove and talking customers into having flooring.
When I measure a job I give lots of advice in design colour etc and talk them out of knight tile.

Mine is outrageous flirting and flattery  My wife says when the phone rings I turn into another person when I speak to customers. I'm not aware of it but if it works for me I won't question it. Another one is if a job is a fair distance from home I'll put in silly hours to get it done quicker and save a journey. Finishing at 10pm is quite common but I can't do it too often these days.

Im a straightfwd talker and prob too honest tbh, no bull**it lol
Also take my time over explain everything so the customer understands exactly what they need and what they are getting
Find the customers appreciate it on a whole. ;)

should have seen this woman me and a guy from work had to work to last week, she was dark skinned, braided hair beauty from south africa, and was an underwear model, talked about sex and all sorts both days we were there! we could hardly concentrate on our work, now i previously said she modelled underwear, well did she not give us a "wee" show, us 2 perched on the kitchen table sippn on coffee whilst she strutted her stuff, this jobs can have its up and downs some days, but DAMN this was a good day haha

on my signature skill, its probably flirtn with every customers yes, haha, or laminate, pretty confident with all carpets, although i've never done any border carpets or stitched a bullnose, never been shown nothing like that, quite confident with kardean, thats the only LVT i've used at work
