Received an online order for a buffingblock from Torino Italy (block weighs 7kg). I'm tracking the delivery process just to see how long it will take UPS to get it there. Furthest away we had to dispatch something has been Australia (our book) and again a buffing block to Ghana!
Deliveries to us in North Scotland usually take a day extra .......so next day delivery is normally next day + 1 or if you order sometihng on a Thursday it will be normally Tuesday before we receive it. Best I had was a blind (which had to be manufactured) i ordered from a company in Wales around lunchtime and it arrived the following morning - less than 24 hours. From memory your deliveries were pretty good aswell Steve !

yes we'er the same over here ray that wee shuch of water make a big diffrence. was in a shop once that was being out fitted and the boys doing the ceiling tiles were sitting about waiting a delivery of light deffusers, the shop was part of a national chain so the guys were sent in from england, i asked what time do you expect them, "any time now we ordered them over night delivery yesterday" one of them said,to which i replied "good luck with that", "what do you mean by that he said" i answered "well with being friday you might see them by tuesday and that depends if the ferrys aren't grounded by stormy seas".
Yes thats a problem we have actualy got a parcel to Australia faster than one sent to Ireland both sent with DHL both on the same day. We also have problems with the Highland of Scotland couriers Charge more and take longer yet we can get deliveries to Cornwall no problem. Customer love next day deliveries but its not always possible.
