Uplifted a stuck down carpet today and the sub floor is not great.
My client dont want us to screed it cause of cost.
Carpet tiles going down later in week.
I said it needs screeding but they dont have the money, meeting the bos there tomorrow.
Any good points i should say to him?
I have already said floors needs to be smooth and tiles wont last as long.

Advice him that manufactures warranty will be void and so will you fitting guaranty. Get them to sign a disclaimer.

There will be no come back as done a few and they were told on last job about screeding but they got lucky as carpet tiles were down stuck with spray adhesive so it was ok.

Not sure mate, the women who is a interior designer got tiles, they were meant to be wood planks but when they came it was 300 x 300 tiles. She didnt mind. Should be easier to fit.
Nothing wrong with the screed Al just a joke incase Paul my business partner comes on here.
