    Who rolls there adhesive?
Do you roll all of them or just PS?
What trowel size do you use?
I rolled that Lg job but did a test with a Standard notch and a A2
I found after rolling there was more adhesive on the floor with the standard then the a2
    Would that be better then?

Just a question on rolling adhesive. I'm finding after rolling it after using a a2 trowel there it doesn't look like there much glue on the floor, is this the way it should be. How do you pre wet the roller.

Will do, I did a test other day with standard notch an a2 notch, then rolled it.
There seamed more glue down with the standard notch.

I did a kitchen yesterday in Karndean and with a dozen tiles down I realised I'd made an error setting out. I'd fitted them with A2 and Karndean PS and hadn't rolled. When I do this I only spread enough adhesive I'd cover in about 90 minutes so the adhesive is tacky where the trowel teeth have touched the ply but the ribs are still soft and will flatten on pressure applied. When I peeled them up I would say there was about 80-90% coverage on the tiles and at that point I'd just used slight hand pressure.

Daz, when rolling the adhesive you need to step up a size on the trowel.

When you roll the floor you need to load the roller with adhesive . I do this by troweling out and then rolling that area and then repeat 3 times. By this point your roller should be loaded. Obviously you can carry on with the rest of the job.

Now getting to the post where there was a issue. DONT confuse Karndeans PS with others. Karndeans PS is not a true PS. IT DOES NOT WORK THE SAME AS F46 for instance

I know it needs to be partially wet to be fully effective. Is this what you mean? Amtico PS works exactly the same way. I used to use an A1 trowel with F46. The problem is the life of a trowel blade is very short as it's so fine.

Kdean adhesive is crap.Had to blow it dry with three fans to get it to go off in decent time.

I've always used a foam roller for primer and Dpm, that's how I was shown at Amtico
