Have great difficulty at the moment choosing a new LVT for my lounge. Normally when i decide i want a new floor i look around at what i have lying around and fit what ever i have. I then decorate the room to match the floor. However, this time i let the MRS decide all the colours for the walls , furniture etc which has left me having to purchase the flooring  As i have to pay for it im really struggling to decide on a floor. Even popped into Karndean today and took 3 planks of a range of colours that i dont have samples for and still cant decide. Anyway, how do you lot decide on a floor? Do you just fit what you have and then decide on room colours after or do like my MRS has this time and like all our customers do.
Who you getting to fit it, Matt? Women are usually better with colours than men imo. You just step in where they're going to go badly wrong.
I pick all are floors as see a lot more houses then my mrs. 90% of my work is houses so you get lots of ideas.
i just use what i have lying around to be honest lol  Ive an axminster in the lounge, amtico in the kitchen and the bathroom, polyflor in the hall.........
I don't have to much trouble in this area, I decide what goes on the floor and not the misses. The reason she decides what I wear when we go out or on holiday as she is the Fast Pack Manager for FCUK all my clothes are choosen by her and the bonus they cost us nothing perk of her job so the perk of my job is you get what ever I can and thats it. So next time you're in FC check the swing ticket if it says Fast Pack its her range and her range is for the last 4 years the best sellers not only here in the UK but world wide. Heres a useless piece of info but you know that little plastic sort of wire that all the tickets are connected to clothes with has a name its called a Kimble so next time it comes up in a pub quiz you all know.
I pick the floors and dont get a say in the rest of the house, dark stained oak for the hallway as I think natural oak is boring and Victoria berber ridge carpets, that stuff doesnt wear. Put it on the mother in laws landing stairs 2 years ago and it still looks brand new. The new spacia range has got some good stuff in it.
i always choose the flooring ive just moved and ive put wood all throughout the downstairs ceramics in the kitchen and carpet all upstairs still havent decided on the bathroom yet but paint is choosen after the flooring
