Great tool this for cutting 9 & 6mm plywood. I have had one for the last few years http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Exact-precision-s ... 2a12341185
I have been interested in that little tool, seen it on the tv shopping channels. I normally use a jigsaw too
I've been using one for years. Great pieces of kit. Small jobs I use a knife with concave blades but I get knackered after a couple of hours on bigger ones.
The guard on the newer ones (well mine anyway) don't clog up as much as the older ones. I don't go through many blades
I got one about 6 months ago and it comes out when ever theres ply, and whizzs through it mo problems, the only down side is I wish it came in 110v so I could use it onsite.
had mine a couple yrs now, when it goes im getting another one straight away. Its too handy, tho the 'on' switch could do with being more friendly to use
Agree with you about the switch - its a pain. I use mine sometimes to cut out the centre of a board on board replacements (if its 15mm or thinner).
I used to buy the heavy duty PS range and went through two and couldn't get a replacement as there weren't any in the country so I got the lightweight one EC310 instead. That was three years ago and it's done a serious amount of cutting and still going strong.
