Howdy wood experts, need some ideas on a 22 mm engineered oak job.
The area in question is around 6m wide by 10m long. There is a curved glass wall
at one side and an old stone wall at the other ( width of room). Need some ideas on finishing up to the glass and stone wall. Cheers.....( don't say cork packers ).. :x .

Contact C.A.T they'll make a trim for that to match the curved radius out of stainless or ali or bronze anything except wood although it will cost as its a one off. The other alternative is to have one made out of a simular wood to whats being installed by a joinery company, or you could try it yourself by soaking said pieces in water for a few days then you'll be able to site form them with less chance of them spliting.
    As for fixing clear silicone.

done a few jobs where I have under cut the stone using a diamond blade in a Bepo (modified Bosh angle grinder) then fitted the wood underneath. Test the stone for moisture though as I had to use a clear PU DPM on one of the walls.

Looks good but lots of work so price the job accordingly and explain to the customer what you are going to do.
