What do you have? I have a 68kg but as im gettin on was thinging of getting a lighter one to get off an on the van & on jobs easier. Also have the karndean hand roller.
i know where your coming from mate. Would you run into poss probs from manufacturers who say floor must be rolled with a 68kg roller etc, & maybe not holding a fault up? I dunno myself, but you could always get down the gym, get weightlifting!
I guess that depends on if you carry on using adhesives like Karndean / Amtico. O and hi, im the new Moderator on the forum
Get a lad and let him get of and on the van, I have a 68kg one and all I do is push it back and forward he gets it on and off the van. Although in my younger days I did break one their not indistructable, especially when launched from the 2nd floor, out of the opening where the new fire escape stair case will be when its finally installed with its door. Well it was a saturday afternoon just finished and really didn't want to lug it down the stairs and located at the bottom ground level was a heap of sand so I thought go on then moved the hording from the opening and charged down the corridor with it good job I let go. What a mistake that was it disppeard into the sand, it took me an hour to dig it out and when I finally got it out the handle shaft was bent at 90 degrees, made it great for rolling under low rads and pipes and benchs. The old man weren't impressed when he saw it.
i got one made up that you break up into 4 pieces 3 wheels and the handle saves lugging it about in one piece
The lad might struggle and if it drops on his foot then you could have his dad,big bro and a hefty claim against you.
