Does anyone know where I can buy a smallish electric floor scraper or bully stripper as we used to call them back in the old days.
I've just got a contract that includes ripping up the old, existing floorcoverings and just my luck, they've all turned out to be foam or gel backed carpets stuck down with a big trowel notch on F3.
    HELP

I've done that before a few times but it works out a touch expensive and I just thought it was about time I coughed up and got one to keep.

    Thanks for all your advice.
I managed to get a Janser Flex Power Stripper 110v from Ebay for £185 and it does the job brilliantly.
Looking to get hold of a cheap door trimmer next.

Its the old "if you uplift quite a lot" then its worth shelling out but if you dont but only now and again, then (hire) is the best business way to do it me thinks.Having said that i have done a fair bit of lino weld of late and i have pondered getting a Leister for myself but i can hire one for a subtenner per day so having another tool knocking about might not be so feasible.
