School work experience

I have my mates son and my nephew wants to do there work experience with me later this year. But not sure i'm allowed to do this, does anyone know about it?
My company is just a partnership with no shop.

 

I know a builder who does this all the time and he has no premises

I once had a young'un out with me for work experience but the next year the school wanted me to provide insurance cover for the pupil but as I am a one man band could not supply the cover could not provide the experience.
Check with the schools careers teacher they will keep you right!
