Does anyone have a tool for removing silicone. Heard there was one on eBay but cant remember which one. I have always had problems with White.
There's a cheap blue plastic one you can get at most ironmongers but it only takes so much of it off. If it comes up I use a straight blade and work my way along it carefully. If necessary clean the rest off with a silicon cleaning chemical. I've never found an easy way of doing it. Is this silicon you've put on yourself. If so I can tell you how to apply it near perfect every time and it's easy.
less is more. Cant tell you the amount of times ive seen it done and it looks like a massive dob being put on by someone using their thumb urgh
Try Clhas Oulson shops they have a great kit that comes with a little rubber squidgie thingy for different sized beeds and removal tools to, gives you a nice neat line everytime.
My trick is after applying the silicon you use an atomising spray and then a tool to smooth it. The reason for the spray is silicon won't stick to wet surfaces and you don't get smearing. Don't get silicon in your gob as it's carcinogenic.
carcinogenic= A carcinogen is any substance, radionuclide, or radiation that is an agent directly involved in causing cancer. This may be due to the ability to damage the genome or to the disruption of cellular metabolic processes. Several radioactive substances are considered carcinogens, but their carcinogenic activity is attributed to the radiation, for example gamma rays and alpha particles, which they emit. Common examples of carcinogens are inhaled asbestos, certain dioxins, and tobacco smoke
No link mate just stumbled across it in their tool isle and thought i'd give it a try. Thumbs up though works a treat.
