DPM over slate section under AGA cooker

    Just a quickie, looking for options to put over a slate section in a kitchen that has an AGA cooker on it and the rest of the floor is timber (dry) Am thinking 1k turbo over it? 1.5m2, have looked on Mapei's website and emailed them but nothing as yet

    1k turbo can only be used on absorbent surface.

    is slate absorbent?
