Mapei 1k turbo works out the cheapest by far.

1- you put it on thinner than epoxy
2- you can put the lid back on and use the same tub for months on end so no waste.
3- can do 2 coats in 30 mins so get the floor fully dpm'ed + skimmed in one day rather than over 3 days.

Your best bet if you ever want to find sales points is to phone or email the manufacturer. They'll be more than happy to help you.

    In reality yes.

My Mrs is due our first child in November and will be out of a job for the next couple of years. I have plenty of storage at our place but no one that will be in every day to see delivery's leave. As she will be home everyday i hope she will be in to sort out the delivers that need to go out. Up untill the day i have someone here that can do that i cant really do it. I imagine the orders will be very small also so wont be able to afford full time staff.

Im more doing this to help people out on the forum rather than for my own gain, but if my Mrs can earn a few extra quid a week to pay the bills while she wont be working then the better for us. (i just know she will spend any extra money on shoes tho) There is also the added bonus that i will be able to spec jobs for you and advice you on what materials will be best suited.

All down to how soon i can my MRS back working

o and she finishes at work in October so could get this set up before hand really and maybe i take over in November, December? Not sure yet

I think the current problem with Mapei is they have concentrated on the tiling market and haven't quite started on the flooring side. Most major tile outlets will stock Mapei products relative to tiling but should be able to order in flooring products. Tile Giant and CTD do that at least.

    Yes they do.

But what Mapei have done is change the name of the products that B&Q have so that when pricing a job a customer cant compare prices to B&Q products. Also they have limited the products to 'DIY' products also which i think is good of them.
