Alright lads, have a few jobs coming up where they need a fair bit of prep work and am sick of hiring the tool and losing money. The jobs are small enough for a small angle grinder size http://tooltray.com/Grinders/Makita-PC1 ... 3DShopping have used this one in the past and didn't like it, so have any of you got a recommendation for a like sized machine?

Am also in 2 minds of getting a normal angle grinder with a decent dust hood and diamond cup.

What do you want to do with it. I've had a couple for polishing.

First job is taking up 10 metre tiles with kango and then grind crap off, second is 14metre old latex and adhesive

PCD discs are the best ones, and make sure you buy a heavy duty hoover with a HEPA filter, as for the dust shroud or skirts as I call them best to get a cast metal one as those plastic/rubber ones don't last long when they're getting pummelled by grit an what not at mach 10.

Cheers, seen this one but am assuming that this must be solely for doing against walls as it has no nose, most of the ones I see are crap plastic http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 500wt_1156

Yes mate I noticed the Itools bucket to thats a really good price for that I'm kicking myself now as the last time I visited their site they didn't have it, so I paid a bit more for that gutted. They got some good trowels to by the looks of things.
