Took this up last week and the housing associotion would not pay for a plastic tray & a Vinyl trap. They wanted me to fix the ply then relay new hydro with the same WRONG trap. It had been siliconed on and water had got under it as you can see. Lucky for me the bloke who got me the job said I was right. Man the times I've seen that and still they are trying to do it wrong it beggars belief. If they ain't puutin the right trap in then I ain't installing it. What don't they understand the difference between a trap and a standard shower drainage is the trap does what it says traps the water and stops it returning on its self. Where as the standard shower drainage does allow the water to return on its self.
