Having a rant, went into hire shop last Thursday and booked a Hilti 150 surface grinder as was taking tiles up today and needed to grind the crap off the floor, also phoned them and emailed to confirm I needed for today. Lo-and-behold go in today and nothing. Was told that they are from every branch in Scotland down in London with all the work going on in the Olympics. How mince is that? On a side note got a new toy to get the tiles up as was sick of hiring and got a 1200w SDS with 3 year warranty for £50 and chisels and case and a tile bit for a fiver http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/p ... 3EWORX.htm Only problem it is too powerful as was taking tiles up against the wall and bleeding clock fell off wall and smashed into a million bits off my nut! Customer pished themselves and not even a cup of sympathy tea! :lol: :lol:
Don't know mate, just checked up with Argos's online thingy for stock and they had 2 so got one for me and my old man (joiner) as he likes to wreck things! Have had a loan of B&Q own brand junk which was 750 watt but this thing is 1200 and eats tiles for brekkie
