Altro fix 19, anyone used the new ones yet, some bright spark at altro decided to put part be in a nasty foil bag WTF.
I opened it up and was shocked to see this little foil bag and what seemed the base of the tub well wheres part a I'm thinkin OH there it is under this little tub which is on top of part a. Now the little tub is a good idea as I've cleaned the base of them and now have a nice little round container with a lid good for t200 250 300 or hcs48 great now those won't keep gettin tangled up in the van.
But my gripe with the foil pack is you tear off the corner and go to pour it into part a and because its all soft and floppy I completly missed and it spued out everywhere. WHAT WAS WRONG WITH THE LITTLE BOTTLE IT WORKED IF IT AIN'T BROKE WHY FIX IT.

With the Mapei stuff its for shelf life and to also get around the problem where fitters dont stir the adhesive.

As for the epoxy you mention, well dont really make any sence.

Stop the press this just in FITTERS DON'T STIR THEIR ADHESIVE, so its our fault then that they put it in a bag.
So exactly how do you mix and adhesive in a bag then answers on a post card please.
The Yanks are gettin their preasure sensitive in a bag in a box with a little spout trouble is its way more messy and you can't pick up whats over poured and get it back in the bag.

LOL, ye it is really messy.

I think the idea is that in a bag they squeeze the air out so when the adhesive is sat for a while it dont form condensation that sits at the top of the glue. So when you open and tip out its fresh glues and not watered down by condensation.

It doesnt actually cure the issue of the solids etc sinking to the bottom.

H & S what tosh someone always has to spoil our fun, I never heard of a fitter injuring or dying from using black jack and 987, my grandfather lived till he was 92 fought his way all the way to germany fitted floors using adhesives which are now banned smoked 40 cigs a day and went to the pub every day for a pint and a wiskey. What did he die from OLD AGE and that was it.
