Seeing as many of us in this trade are expected to work the clock round including weekends, so other businesses can be accommodated. I was wondering what you naught get up to on the rare days that you take off. So far this year I have taken a week off in July and am taking today off so my wife and I can take our wee one to the farm although she ain't feeling very well so it may be a day about the house.
Had a week off for Portugal earlier this year, Do work alot of weekends. Never bank holidays. If my week doesnt look full I always try and keep Monday free. 3 day weekend should be standard :cry:
I work what ever days or hours I can weekend bank holidays nights but I try not to work any of daughters school holidays as try to get away for a bit of relaxing sun / beach break with the family, but if it's the odd day with no work then it's got to be the golf course in the morning then back to pick little one up from school
