Been after a plunge saw for a while but they're all a bit pricey. Thought I'd get a dewalt one as it cuts 11mm from the edge (ideal for trimming back floors that have expanded into the gap).
Just got an email about this one, cuts 15.5mm from edge, a bit big but would be handy for board replacements. There's also a deal for one with 2 1.4m rails and clamps for £219.95
Theres also a deal on the fein kit.

the guide rail etc is almost identical to festool along with depth of cut and how far away form wall etc. Anyone would think its a Chinese copy !

    Good price also.

woodstar aren't bad for cheapies but would rather wait and save up for the festool or mafell one only a couple of hundred more

I'd get one if it cut closer to the edge but 15.5mm is a bit far. The dewalt one cuts 11mm to the edge and mafell do the kps40 which is similar but only cuts 40mm deep.
As I'm typing this I'm thinking "sod it, get one"
