trimmer blades

    At the moment I cut all my carpet freehand with a straight blade, not through the pile into the skirting but by pulling the carpet back and cutting with my hand underneath, if that makes sense? I was taught to cut like this when I first started and I think I'll always cut in that way, I was just looking at that trimmer for when I'm really swamped so I can speed thing up a bit.

    Does the arasure cutter take standard hooks without the big hole in, or does it only take a certain type?

    it takes standard hook blades cracking piece of kit for fitting loads of vinyl.

    makes perfect sense fitting the correct way, but if i were you i'd save up and get a good one trust me worth every penny

    Standard hook Really ?
    Mine only takes the ones with holes in it ??

    That's what j have and most people use , I have a friend who uses the trim master for loop piles , I was wondering if it was worth buying one or not ??

    The trim master i great for felt back direct to subfloor. But on a carpet fitted on gripper it is easy to mark the skirts.
