VERY SHINY CERAMIC TILES

    Have to lay some Altro safety flooring in a takeaway, on the floor are very shiny ceramic tiles have to screed it so prime with 131 and then use Fball 300 will it stick! will degrease it before.

    are they ceramic or porcelain will make a large difference as will it if they're granite or marble

    I think they could be porcelain there are very shiny and slippery.

    i would use mapei's prim grip primer as its designed to stick to non-pourus subfloors like tiles then Renovation Screed. I find for the money it's a much superior product to balls 300

    Just to note, never score tiles before someone suggests it. Moister can pass through to the backing and send weak. Also we score tiles to cut them. Once scored it wont take much pressure if there is a void underneath to crack the tile.

    I fit one of the takeaways to day primed with 131 and screeded with 300 day before, stuck like sh--- to a blanket fit 4m thick Altro to day whot a bast--- cold as well start next one on Thursday finish Friday, tried to sand the floor with diamond sand paper didn't touch it.
